E-learning IPAF MEWPs for operators

This e-learning offers a flexible and enhanced online learning experience for aerial work platform operators. Available for
all aerial work platform categories (1a, 1b, 3a, 3b) and takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

The e-learning is divided into manageable sections that you can complete at your own pace, and you can save and resume the training at any time.

How to start your e-learning course

  1. Contact us and sign up for the IPAF e-learning Aerial Work Platform Operator.
  2. We will send you an email to get started.
  3. Complete the pre-theory test at the end of the course.
  4. Passed! .... Let us know and schedule an appointment for the written exam and the practical part of the training within 90 days.
  5. This completion at our training center takes at least half a day.
  6. Upon successful completion, you will receive the digital IPAF certificate and the PAL-card.

Category 3A & 3B

Mobile vertical aerial work platforms

This is the category for self-propelled scissor lifts. It includes the use of mobile vertical aerial platforms or scissor lifts. This category focuses on the safe operation of machines that move primarily vertically. PAV aerial platforms can also belong to this category. Examples include: self-propelled mast lifts and scissor lifts.

Mobile boom lifts / (articulating) telescopic boom lifts

This category focuses on the safe use of mobile self-propelled aerial platforms. This includes machines such as telescopic booms and articulated booms. In this category, you will learn how to operate self-propelled aerial platforms that can make both vertical and horizontal movements.

Category 1B: on request

Static boom lifts / (articulating) telescopic boom lifts

This category concerns the safe use of static boom or (articulated) telescopic booms. This includes operating aerial platforms that are usually set up in one place and can reach beyond the base of the machine. Examples include: truck-mounted platforms, car-mounted platforms, trailer-mounted platforms, and spider lifts.

Coffee, tea & water are freely available at our training locations. Day courses include lunch.
For practical training with machines, safety shoes are mandatory. For the practical part, please take weather conditions into account regarding clothing. Required harness sets are available for you on the training day.
